When ongoing development brings wave after wave of urban transplants into an otherwise rural community, a struggle erupts over whose values belong, whose voices get to be heard, and whose lives deserve inclusion in this new world in the making. This film – a compilation of stories and images from the ongoing, underreported phenomenon of migration to the American South – is a story about belonging, transformation, power and land.
